Vanda orchids are some of
the most beautiful orchids and come in many colors among
other with a intense blue hue.
The natural habitat are the Himalayas,
Australia, New Guinea and / or in a Thai nursery in
Phuket.
Vandas are epiphytic, they grow on
trunks or branches of trees, with their roots hanging
down to catch moisture.

If handled properly the vanda orchid
blossom 2-3 times per year and the blossom period could
last for a month or more.
Vanda orchids are rather easy to grow. These plants produce
flowers in vibrant colors such as blue, red, yellow and orange.
Flower spikes can have as much as 10 blooms that last for
several weeks.
Vanda orchid plants
will reward you with a soothing fragrance and beautiful distinct
blooms. When growing vanda orchids inside the house, give them
enough light, enough water and proper temperatures and
fertilization. Orchids will need to be repotted every 2 or 3
